Diabetes brings deadly complications if they are not handled in time. Proper exercise, diets suggestions and support of the doctors and Professionals are important to avoid these complications carried by diabetes. Some of the complications seen in diabetic patients are:

Loss of eye sight:
Diabetes may affect our vision and the eye sight. In most of the diabetic case lost of eye sight due to the damage occurred in the blood vessels in the eye has been noticed.
High blood sugar levels can damage the blood vessels that feed the retina of the eye. In an early stage of diabetic eye disease, the blood vessels may leak fluid. This may damage the eye sight by making the retina swell which may lead to a blur vision
Kidney damage:
Diabetes also affects the tiny blood vessels in our kidney. Kidney failure is also seen in diabetic patient especially when the patient has the long time history of suffering. Kidney works as a filtering machine to clean the blood of waste products and extra fluid but damaged kidney fails to filter these wastes. This reduces the body capability and we may suffer from numerous diseases.
The risk of Kidney failure increases if he/she is suffering from high blood sugar level.
People must undergo dialysis or kidney transplant in order to survive.
Heart problems:
Heart problem is the major difficulty seen in a diabetic patient. Three out of four deaths are caused by the heart failure and blood vessels among diabetics. Diabetes increases the risk of developing heart related diseases. A research has proved that a woman who have not gone through menopause usually have less risk of heart disease than men of the same age.
Heart problems are serious so if you are a diabetic then we suggest you to maintain your blood glucose level. You should also beware of your proper diets and physical exercises are the most.
Nerve damage:
Diabetic neuropathies are the disorders seen in the nerves due to poorly handled diabetes.
70% of people who are suffering from diabetes are likely to have neuropathies. But, the risk increases with the age. People who smoke and those who are alcoholic increase the risk of nerve disorders. Sometimes a damaged nerve may show some symptoms but in some cases there are no symptoms for nerve damage.
Nerves system affected by the diabetes:
Loss of hearing:
Loss of hearing is also a sign of disordered nerves. Diabetes affects the blood vessels and our nerves. Loss of hearing is a common symptom seen in a patient especially if he is a long diabetic patient.
3 types of Diagnosis on diabetes:
Fasting plasma glucose test:
Fasting plasma glucose test is the easy and convenient method of calculating the blood glucose level in our blood after we have attended the fasting for minimum 8 hours.
The test is more dependable when done in the morning.
If the fasting glucose level is found between 100 to 125 mg/dL then you have a form of pre-diabetes called impaired fasting glucose, meaning that you are more likely to develop type2 diabetes but do not have it yet. If the blood sugar level exceeds more then 100 to 125mg/dL in our repeated test then it is believed that we have type2 diabetes.
Oral glucose tolerance test:
Oral glucose tolerance test is marked as gold standard for type2 diabetes. It is now seen commonly used in Gestational diabetes test. Under this test, the person requires to fast for at least 8 hours before the test. Then first, the fasting plasma glucose is tested. After these 75 grams of glucose is taken by the person.
Random test:
I consider random test as a non-scientific test because in this we look at the symptoms developed by an individual we determine if he has diabetes or not. Further more, this test is also done by taking our blood samples which is taken randomly in any time whether it’s after our launch or meal. Hence, the probability for wrong results is possible.
